(Yaki) is a hair texture that is designed to look and feel like African American Hair (Black Peoples) that has been through a processing to make their own hair straight. This processing is called Relaxing.
There are 4 types of Yaki hair textures some people may call it different names.
Silky Yaki
The lightest or silkiest texture is called Silky Yaki or Yaki Straight. This type of yaki is very close to the silky straight hair but if you look closely you can see the yaki ripples in the hair. Kinky Yaki
The next yaki is called Kinky Yaki this type of yaki looks more like African American hair that has not been relaxed but has just been blow dried straight instead. Coarse Yaki
The next type of yaki is the coarsest of all, this type of yaki is called Coarse Yaki. Coarse Yaki looks and feels like African American hair that has not been relaxed or blown dry straight. Coarse Yaki looks like NATURAL African American hair that has not been through any chemical processing. This particular yaki can come in 2 forms Wavy Coarse Yaki or Curly Coarse Yaki. Because naturally African American hair has very tight curls some can look more like waves or curls.
